Catonsville is convenient to many sports attractions including Baltimore Orioles Major League Baseball at the one of a kind Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Superbowl XXXV Champion Baltimore Ravens football, Baltimore Blast Soccer, Bawhawks Lacrosse, and more. Additionally, Catonsville is convenient to the well known Pimlico Race Track which is the home of the Preakness Stakes, part of Horse Racing's famous Triple Crown. All of the major sports are within a short driving distance of about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and all are also accessible by Mass Transit via Park-and-Ride from Catonsville and some via Light Rail from surrounding areas. (A great alternative to avoid trying to find parking). But don't forget if it's local action your looking for you can catch a wide variety of exciting sporting events right in Catonsville at the local area colleges and at the local High Schools. If all of those attractions aren't enough for you, Maryland is also home to three of the Orioles Minor League teams; The Frederick Keys and the Bowie Baysox, both about a 30-45min drive from Catonsville, and the DelMarva Shorebirds on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
